Help keep our global AI systems running
At Claviate, we have developed a revolutionary data platform built around advanced AI cameras deployed worldwide. Our solutions support the installation and documentation of wind turbines – both offshore and onshore – where high system reliability is essential. We are therefore looking for a Hardware Support Technician with technical aptitude and a systematic mindset to help monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our systems – ensuring everything runs smoothly across the globe.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring our hardware dashboard and identifying devices that are offline or behaving abnormally
- Initiating and coordinating troubleshooting internally and with customers
- Logging into systems via VPN and analyzing error and log data from remote devices
- Preparing and configuring hardware for shipment to new customers
- Installing and servicing AI cameras onsite with customers (occasional travel)
- Collaborating closely with hardware developers, data engineers, and software developers
- Supporting student assistants with their daily technical and logistical tasks
We’re looking for someone with:
- Practical experience – or strong interest – in hardware and electronics
- A systematic approach to troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
- Clear communication skills, especially when interacting with customers
- Basic IT and networking knowledge, including remote access and error log interpretation
- The ability to balance hands-on tasks with remote support and monitoring
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take responsibility when things go wrong
It’s a plus if you also have:
- Experience with embedded systems or IoT
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management
- A preference for working in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment
